“It was [Christ] who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
(Ephesians 4:11-13)
As a church, we believe in the essentiality of the Christ-given ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. We are glad apostles are being raised up and recognized in this day and that the Church at large is benefiting from their gifting. We affirm the foundational gift of the apostle and believe that the recognition of apostolic gift will result in the release and proper functioning of the other Ephesians 4 gifts. In this regard, we are grateful to receive John Lalgee as an apostle to us. John leads One Church Ministries, a ministry team which exists to provide the care and equipping of local churches by Ephesians 4 ministries. Its goal is:
• To bring to maturity and effectively care for churches with which John and the Ephesians 4 ministries connected to him have a direct relationship.
• To influence the wider Church by way of resource and example.
• To raise up and release others with recognized Ephesians 4 ministries for the building up of the Church at large.

John Lalgee

While in the U.K., John continued to be very involved with Living Light in Kenosha, his role transitioning to one of apostolic oversight to the church. John and his family moved back to the U.S.A. in 2007 and took Covenant Life Church under his wing not long after. John and his family currently live in Kenosha and from there he oversees three Living Light Christian Church congregations in Wisconsin (Kenosha, Racine and Pleasant Prairie), Living Light Church in Taunton and Covenant Life Church in Lake City. All of this work is carried out as part of One Church Ministries, which John leads.
